The German Society/Association of Biofeedback (DGBfb) was founded in 1998 with the objectives of

• Providing information resources about Biofeedback for patients and practitioners
• Encouraging and improving scientific research, clinical and educational applications of Biofeedback
• Offering accepted advanced vocational training for Biofeedback-therapy
• International cooperation with other Biofeedback associations
• Representation of professional interests of Biofeedback-therapists and –trainers
